An LNG terminal has started operating in HaminaKotka, the largest port of Finland, in which the Estonian energy company Alexela has made the largest direct investment in history from Estonia to Finland. It is also the first LNG terminal in Finland that is connected to the national gas network. The first commercial LNG carrier received this weekend marks the start of business for the terminal.
Jana Indrane, a member of the community program, does not live in Estonia but in Latvia. Although it would be economically more reasonable for her to refuel on the other side of the border, it is precisely the opportunity to make up for her consumption footprint that brings Jana, living near the border, to refuel in Estonia.

Investment company Eesti Talleks and domestic energy concern Alexela joined forces to make electric car charging service more accessible in office buildings. Cooperation between the two companies is not new. Until now, this was done within the investment company's car business City Motors, where home chargers were offered to electric car buyers. As of today, the installation of public chargers in the renovated Talleks quarter was added as an additional layer.
The domestic energy company Alexela is speeding up the development of Estonia's charging infrastructure by installing 400 kW superchargers. The charging speed of electric car chargers of such power is comparable to the filling time of liquid fuels. The first charger of this kind will be installed on the roadside of Via Baltica.

Energiasalv has acquired another EUR 11 million in additional financing for its EU Project of Common Interest (PCI project), the "Zero Terrain Paldiski" Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHS) plant in Estonia. The funding includes strategic investments from Alexela, Sunly, Combiwood Grupp, Warmeston, and Kiikri Kodu, further strengthening the project's financial position.
Energy company Alexela installed a new charging point for electric cars at its modern Põhjala plant in Tallinn. The official opening will take place this Saturday, when the summer season and Ankru 10 building opening celebrations will be held in the former rubber factory center. On the opening day on June 3, electric cars will be able to be charged at the price of 1 c/kWh at the Põhjala plant.
